The Power of Prayer

Men have you ever thought just how powerful your prayers are? Most of us as men can look at physical things such as car engines, or even a jet engine and know that there is power in those engines. Power needed to move the car or lift the plane. But what about our words?

Machines can run on minimum power and get by, but what happens when they get a boost in power? Their performance increases, they move faster and produce better results.

This is the difference it makes when we as men choose to pray. God will still move when we don’t, however when we do we create that burst of power that God can use to do even more.

There is something powerful when we as men of the King bring our requests to him in prayer. And sometimes I find that is the simple little two sentence prayers that move those mountains.

I was reminded that Elijah prayed that it wouldn’t rain and it didn’t for 3 years. Just like that. I’m sure many of you have encountered similar experiences.

So as you are going about your busy day serving our King. Don’t forget to talk to him and ask him for things you need help with. He has unlimited power and resources. Let’s tap into it and be the mighty men of God we are called to be.
